Me, and then some

You call this SPRING...!??!?!?!?!??!?!

Before I continue, I just wanna say, as I finished writing everything and was about to post everything, fucking IE naik gila, so this re-post is gonna be slightly differnent from the original post. DULAN.

Anyway, slept at 10-ish am today. How much more of a vampire am I becoming. I don't eat garlic and I don't sleep if the sun's not up. Bwahaha.

Thought I was gonna sleep till late evening but the irritating jingle of the mobile woke me up at 1.19pm. Turns out to be my friend asking me to meet him for drinks in Civic at 1.30pm. Wah lan. Rushed through my morning ritual like a mad cow and got dressed in record time. HAHAHA. Make-up was the culprit that slowed me down. Nvm la, have to look good wherever I go. What if I bump into Prince Charming right? You never know.

Ran to the bustop because it was raining. Mahai. The rain stopped the moment I reached the bustop. Might as well you just let it pour when I was running right? KNS. Arrived at destination with no rain. Yayyy. Got sun sumore wor. Cheery sun rays trying to burst through the thick layers of clouds. Another couple joined the table and next thing, RAIN.

Moved in, found a really nice place where it could fit the entire group. Approximately 10 ppl. Got nice comfy couches with pillows, and it's directly in front of the fire place. Imagine having a fireplace installed in shops in KL. People will look at you with that KL saying: Looking at you one kind. Hahahaha.

Stayed in there for a while. Rain stopped after like 20 mins. KNN. Hello. You not siens, but im fucking bored of the weather leh. The group was lazy to move since we found such a nice spot and stayed in there for another couple of hours with somesilly blabber and jokes.

Decided it was still too erly for everyone to go back though most of the group has left. Decided to watch a movie. This guy and I was really gung-ho about watching Saw2 but the gf admitted she's chicken shit when it comes to shows like these, so nvm la. Ended up with Harry Potter and the Globlet of Fire.

Bought the tickets, and because we had an hour to kill, we went for dinner at a Korean restaurant called Godori. 100% Korean la, waiters and waitresses are Korean, and only Korean dishes, no funny guai lou food. And the display pictures are almost identical to the food they served. That's one thing good about them. They don't con us consumers with big servings such as the posters you see on every fastfood outlet. Hell, we live in such an artificial and made-believe world where women (and men) go under the knife to look younger, slimmer, fitter; where the food on TV are paintbrushed and modified to look appealing and where models appearing on magazines are made-up and photoshopped to look perfect. This is one time I've seen the serving look almost identical to the display pics.

Went to watch the movie. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. Super short movie for such a thick book. Only 157 minutes for the 4th book. Waste my $10.50 for better expectations. I'm not such a big fan to the extend of reading the book and knowing every word by heart before watching the show, but I vividly remember reading about the Quidditch World Cup and the excitement Harry experienced when he was watching it. To be honest, it was only 5 minutes at the most. No Quidditch games also, just a few players entering the field and a huge blow-up on Krum. Even the contest between the Tri-Wizard Champions were super short, not to mention the fight between the evil Lord Voldemort and H.Potter was meager and inadequate. Let-down.

Oh, but I got a new discovery today. CHOCOLATE POPCORN...!!! Couple of minutes before the movie started, my friend asked me whether we wanted to buy popcorn. I said no immediately because for all I know, they only serve salted popcorn in OZ Land and the salt burns and stings my lips pretty badly. Mane tau my other friend told me they have 3 choices here: salted, sweet and CHOCOLATE...!!!!

Being the chocoholic I was, I immediately rushed out there to buy the chocolate combo which comes with a regular Coke. Imagine my disappointment when the lady handed me this:

I thought it'd be fresh from the oven like the normal popcorn, fat chance.

Dejectedly, I returned to the cinema and proceeded to open the pack and have a first try of my very first chocolate popcorn. Lo and behold! Popcorn was fresh, the chocolate coating was not only good but super orgasmic. Cocoa-ey and not too sweet as well!!!

Seriously, guai lou's dairy products are dem good wei. Their ice-cream ROCKS/RULES/ONS.

Check out the thick, lucscious and generous layer of chocolate coating on the popcorn. *drools, gushes, slobber over, salivates*. Paiseh, embarassing myself here. *Hurriedly wipes of trail of saliva from side of mouth*

1&2. The shop front of Godori. Those are just a few pictures of the many dishes on display. The tasty dishes are hidden under the glass shield to prevent people from stealing.
2. That's my order of chicken schnitzel with rice. Rice had some black sesame seeds and some kinda leaves in it for seasoning purposes. Chicken was tender and delicious. The sauce for the chicken was slightly sweet, which makes a very good combination. The yellow sauce on the rice is actually curry. It tastes just like Japanese curry, very mild and light. The only complaint I have for this dish was the salad. The lettuce was extremely bitter. And they had chinese celery mixed in with it. Ewww.....BTW, where the hell is the KIM CHI..?!!?!?!?!?!

Me and Aidi, the other missing host from the house warming party I attended on Thursday Night. Entry about that is in my friendster. About the other guy in the pic, this is the second time I've met him , but I can't recall his name.

*psst, I think he looks like the typical mat in KL*

Took the bus back to chilly gusts of winds, no SKYLINE driver this time. Gosh, I totally dig that ride. Super comfy and oh-so-nice. Too bad the driver wasn't yummy enough. ROFLMAO. And yeah, I LOATHE Canberr'a weather. You really experience 4 seasons in one day, or rather, a few hours. Let me show you.

10-ish am: Wen to the bed. Sun was shining with all his might.
1.10pm: Woke up. Dark, omnimous loaming in the distance.
2pm: Left the the house. Extremely windy. Cloudy.
2.01pm: Drizzling + wind. Cold wan okies?
2.05pm: Arrived at the bustop just as it STOPPED RAINING. KNN.
2.40pm: Sat down in Starbucks, sun rays.
3pm: Drizzling. Dulan edi. Moved indoors.
3.30pm: Stopped drizzling. GOT KAO KAO SUN SUMORE. PET PET. DEM SIENS WEI.

See what I mean when you experience 4 seasons in a day? It's pretty chilly when the wind blows. Add a little downpour and experience Canberra at it's coldest. THE WIND HOWLS HERE, NO GENTLE BREEZES IN RAIN. Absolutely scorching when the sun shines. No need to stay here for a year to go through the 4 seasons. A couple of days or a couple of weeks at best. DULAN. Tomorrow better be good because I got plans in the evening and night. Bahhh.

Enjoy.
